The streets are cold and uninviting here,
always drafty as the wind howls down those empty corridors. It's hard to
stay warm, let alone feel the slightest bit of heat, even from the
flickering fires in the falling buildings.
It's not that the town
is dead, however... Far from it. If it weren't for the wandering souls
that escape the desert air to come in and get a drink of ale or feed
themselves and their animals, I'm sure that it would be. Still, this has

family is long gone, I would hope. My mother died long ago and I
started to wander. I lived in places and in shadows that I never should

keep me as it's lonely child.
I don't even bother to go out in
the heat of the day, but at night it is so unmercifully cold that I feel
as though if I do not move I will freeze to the spot. Sometimes I do
manage to catch a glimpse of some other unlucky soul walking about, but
they are usually going home or to the local tavern. I am not as
No home for me here, at least, no real one. The empty,

from those that may feel the need to do me harm. Heaven forbid I be

Now, these broken red brick streets

Either way, it will not bother me.

and feet. There is hood that wraps around from the back and drapes over
her head to obscure her face from view.
Special Weapon/Skill: Stealth. She can fade in and out of
the shadows at will, as she's had to learn over the years of living on
the streets. There is always a small silver dagger somewhere in her
possession, just in case.
(at least six sentences please):
She was named after the color of her skin by a family that did not want
her. Her mother is long gone and she can only assume that her father is
as well, though she has never known him so she does not know for sure.
Many years ago she started hiding from humans that picked on her
constantly and, unable to deal with the abuse, she set out on her own
never to return from her life on the side streets of common society.
Though not as old as her words would lead one to believe, she has an
unbelievable amount of information about the strange and obscure, like
herself. Oddly enough, this does not include much information about her
own kind, though she wishes it did. Her current goal is to simply find
someplace where their are people that will accept her for who she is,
not what she looks like.
Loner, but not quiet... She enjoys making conversation whenever
possible. She also likes to be around people and can be rather cheery,
but does not make a habit of it.
else? (pets, special problems/pet peeves, etc.): There are hidden attributes which
she tries to hide in order to fit in, like her strange skin, hair, and
eye color. She does not allow people to touch her or ever see her
without her hood and long clothing because of this. It makes her seem
rather prudish for her young age.

back against the brick wall beside the tavern, she sighed. Bright red
curls fell out the front of her hood as she looked down to the ground,
shimmering in the light of the nearest street lamp. Crossing her arms
and moving one foot up against the fired clay exterior, she wondered
aloud, "Will it ever get interesting around here?"

Unfriendly one, but she has a soft heart. Terana has always wished she
was a human, or even a half human demon, but never a full demon. And
whenever a human has seen her, they hated her, called her ugly, ran away
from her, being scared. She hated her life, but she had to live it, she
hopes to one day have a friend, and live someplace where no one is
scared of her, or mad at her. Or saying she is ugly, since she has

front of other demons. Jealous of humans/human-demons. Never starts

claws, her claws only poking out of her cape," This is all me, it's part
of me, It's not like I can take them off and throw them away."
Lady wrote:"Yes," she hissed back, "but it's not like it'll kill you to trim them
twice a day. Most of us do." She stuck out her hand, covered by the long
sleeves of her robe and revealed four fingertips to the cold night air.
Long, smooth nails, as black as the night, shined at the tips that were

giggling in order to continue, "I have no 'demon' form or 'human' form,
I'm just like this. There is no way around it." She shrugged, "That's
just me though. I don't really know how everyone--well, everything--else works."

Her gaze turned toward a drunk
tavern patron that stumbled out of the door and across the deserted
street before wondering away in the opposite direction in a drunken
stupor. "Those," she whispered, "are the ones you need to worry about.
As drunk as they may seem to everyone, if they happen to find the right

into the shadows, leaving the demon person behind.
Lady wrote:"Oh yes, because I look so much

words that the demon woman said while walking off.

Age, Sex, and Race: 15, Female,
Fairy/Demon(xD keep reading please)
While she usually appears to have wavy blonde hair and bright blue
eyes, often dressed in modest, but nice clothing that shines with her,
it's her disguise. In her true form, her skin has a pink tint, her eyes
are bright orange, not blue, her hair isn't wavy, but straight and
spikey and white. Her clothing is darker, and less shining.
Special Weapon/Skill: She can create
an illusion over herself to cloak her true form, though it eats up a lot
of energy if she does it for over 2 hours.
Background (at least six sentences please): Miria was born half fairy, half
demon. Her mother, Swebyda, was a fallen fairy who'd left her own family
and ended up marrying Miria's dad, a demon. She grew up in a large
home, hidden by trees, and enjoys it there. Miria loves her parents, her
friends, and almost everyone, for she'd inherettid alot of her mother,
she usually spent her evenings outside. After Miria turned ten, her
parents decided to let her interact with the real world, so when her
mother told her of this, Miria was shocked. The night afterwards she
discovered she could create a false image of herself. After showing her
parents, they agreed to let her go try it out her power, so she faced
off the world, enjoying it.
Miria is a bubbly, friendly, forgetful gir- er fairy demon. She,
though, since she IS part demon, has a wicked side. She enjoys pulling
pranks, and lies with ease. Sometimes her traits won't get along and
she'll get a massive headache.
else? (pets, special problems/pet peeves, etc.): She often attracts people, whether for good
or worse, that sometimes scares her out of her illusion. Miria has
never been bullied since her 'disguise' is not very ugly, but she always
sticks up for her friends, and for what she believes in.

Miria was shoved out of the house,
minutes after she'd showed a drunk man out the door, leaving him
wandering. She fell to the ground, for an instant, her illusion
faltered, revealing a flash of black hair, but it was soon gone. Ouch, she thought, her face twisting
up in anger, why was everyone so rude?
She ought to go beat them up, she ought to play a tri- a small inner
voice whispered, that's cruel.
Miria groaned, took a deep breath, and exhaled, her fairy genes were
right. She was too weak to fight, she had been holding the illusion for a
good hour, it was wearing her out. Looking both ways, which was usually
no big deal since the town was mostly deserted, she checked to see if
anyone was watching. For once- there was. Well maybe the people weren't watching her but they were there.
Dressed in long clothing, and being too far away, she couldn't really
see them, but they're figures were there. One ran off, the other alone.
Curious and courteous, Miria approached the cloaked figure left behind.
"Hello," she called out, "why are you standing alone?"

turned down," But I'll never be accepted."
Lady wrote:"Me?" she asked, raising a hand to point to herself and shaking her head
from side to side. Upon realizing the demon had vanished from sight she
sighed, knowing that the girl that was just shoved out of the tavern
was talking to her. "Um, I'm just here. Nothing to look at, really."
LoonyMoony wrote:Miria smiled broadly, and skipped towards the girl. "Oh, yes you are,"
she argued, "there's practically nobody else to talk to besides those
horrible people. Since you're away, though, I guess that means that
you're a lot more fun then them. They're boring sticks in the cement
anyway, so I guess I'll talk to you. I have to go for dinner in... about
an hour, but I need something to do, and you seem nice enough." Miria
took a breath for air, pausing, her eyes twinkling, "Anyways, who was
that person, earlier? Why'd they go off, did they get mad at you?" She
wasn't trying to pry, or be rude for that matter, it was merely the fact
that she had not a lot of company, and a young girl is often curious.
Lady wrote:She blinked several times before even attempting to reply to the perky
